Now I practice Stephano's aria from Roméo et Juliette by Gounod.
As yet I can not understand deeply this charactor, but I love him too much.
In opera he acts very airy. He is not a man but a boy.
A big accident in this opera happend by him at second scene.
The reason that it happend is Stephano made a fool of Caplet.
At the scene, Stephano sings " Que fais-tu, blanche tourterelle". Very fanny song.
Yes, this aria is sang on french! Oh my God!!!
But I feel I can sing easiliy,maybe french is good for me.
Stephano may be 15 years old like Cherubino. Each boys are very careless.
They do not understand deadline. So they cause some problems in opera.
Le nozze di Figaro is opera buffa. At last cherubino is happy.
But Roméo ot Juliette is opera seria.
