はためく万国旗 尾根先紅野
農業共同組合の
比較的大きいストアーの
駐車場に
客寄せの為に張られた
万国旗が
風にはためいている
一つ一つの旗が
震えるように速くはためき
ロープ全体が大きくゆっくり揺れる
近くの小学校の土手の枯れた桜の木立や
あるいは トランスのある大きい電柱や その電線が
夕暮れの
青みを失った白い寒空に
突き出る中で
Bunting in the Wind
The bunting is flying in the
Parking lot of a relatively large
Agricultural Cooperatives （ＪＡ) store.
The flags of all nations,
Hung there to attract shoppers,
Are fluttering in the wind,
Each one of them trembling quickly and
The ropes swinging slowly
Back and forth.
Projecting beyond the bunting
Are leafless cherry trees on the bank of
A nearby grade school
Or the tall electric poles with transformers
And the electric wires
Against the chilly paling sky of evening twilight
Which has lost a blue hue.
