Google Maps “Reviews” problem written by ONUMA Masaaki
グーグルマップの「クチコミ」の問題点
As of October 29th, 2023, although I have posted 130 reviews on Google Maps, only 108 are being displayed in deed. I still don't know why 22 items were hidden. I think about images and text to avoid slander before posting them, all reviews are given a 5-star rating of “★★★★★”. It is said that “AI” carefully selects the products, but isn't that AI turning into a “black box”? On the other hand, Google doesn’t delete reviews that are marked with a one-star “★” that is clearly considered to be defamatory in spite of the fact that it is truth or not, but rather leaves them alone. I think the standards are not “objective.”
２０２３年１０月２９日現在、グーグル（Ｇｏｏｇｌｅ）マップの「クチコミ」に１３０件投稿してみて、１０８件が表示されている状態。２２件がなぜ非表示になったのかその理由がいまだに判らず。画像や文章を考えて投稿している。誹謗中傷にならないように全て５つ星「★★★★★」としている。「ＡＩ」が厳選しているとのことだが、そのＡＩが「ブラックボックス」と化してないか。逆に、１つ星「★」を点けている明らかに誹謗中傷と取れるクチコミには、グーグルは削除することなく、放置の姿勢を決め込んでいる。基準が「客観的」だとはとても言えないと思う。
The problem is that, unlike Japanese companies, there is no contact information for telephone inquiries is made public, and this is common within Japan.There are concerns that this could lead to Google （including “YouTube”）controlling information on the Internet in Japan. “GAFA” keeps such a situation enable to monopolize the Japanese market, so I sincerely hope that a Japanese company will produce a service that is comparable to GAFA.
問題は日本企業と違い、電話での問合せ先が一切公表されておらず、それが国内でまかり通っていること。動画配信サイトであるユーチューブ（ＹｏｕＴｕｂｅ）も含め、日本でのグーグルによるインターネット上での情報の支配に繋がらないか危惧する。『ＧＡＦＡ』による日本市場の独占状態が続いているが、日本企業による同様のＧＡＦＡに負けないサービスが産れることを切に願う。
