The other day, I was a model for a hair show. My hair got a drastic change!
This is the last moments of my old hair.
During prep, they dyed my hair and cut only half of it. You can really see how much was cut off.
They finished cutting and dying my hair on stage. They added horizontal highlights to accentuate the curls. (I will look like a tiger when I straighten it!) And these curls are all natural! they only used a defuser to style my hair. And now time to go on stage to show the final product.
After the finale, us model got some drinks and people came over and felt our hair. This is the other model with red hair. We were like twins until they cut off my hair.

Had a very good first day at the con. Working for Tainted Reality and Rose Noire.
It really started yesterday for us when we arrived. My cell phone broke when I was driving down. I don't know how it broke. I also did not sleep very well because the air conditioner in our room either doesnt work well or makes a very loud clicking sound that keeps everybody awake.
BUT! the day was good. We got everything set up early, so when my gps took us totally the wrong way to pick things up, we had a little extra time, and we were able to turn it into a good thing and go to an area that had more of what we needed than the place we were supposed to go to.
All the staff members were dressed Goth to help promote the band, and people kept asking all staff if we were band members. It was funny.
At the last con that I worked with a band, sometimes people didn't make sure they had food. I made sure to bring extra food just in case. I gave them onigiri on the first night, and Irish soda bread for breakfast this morning. I also have natto and rice for breakfast tomorrow if they want it (if not, i'm eating it (｡・ε・｡))
Last night, I gave the singer my computer to watch NHK on Ustream. And he and all staff members talked about the nuclear plant for a long time.
Today, I was st the merch booth all day, very tired from wearing a corset.
The other band at the con is from NYC, like me. I am friends with them o(^▽^)o They called out to me from the stage during their show tonight. Their table is next to ours, so I will see them a lot tomorrow.
Also Rose Noire concert is tomorrow night. And they will have an acoustic show at 2pm tomorrow in the dealers room. I hope a lot of people show up.
All other staff members are out playing video games or dancing. I am tired in the hotel room watching the news (about Japan). After posting, I will take a show and get into comfy clothes. I hope I will sleep better tonight. I hope tomorrow is another good day
