things happen every seconds around us... numerous murders, accident and rapes are happening while i am typing... sad but true...rem, the time when we are young, we will never think about such things... or even hear, read or see about them.. is it because it is happening more often now..
i doubt so.. maybe we are more aware of our surrounding as we grow, our tiny universal widen, our world expand. as we have more informations...
the second point that i want to make is about this expanding universe we live in.. as long as it does not happen in our universe, it has minimal impact on us... 911, Asia tsunami.. both great tragedy but nothing seems more real than a fellow Singaporean dying, a person with a name, a school, an address that u can associate with.... the effects multiply when it is a friends, & increase exponentially when it is a family member or someone close..
The fact is life is fragile...and we only have one to experience and fulfill...
in retrospect, every time something such as these things happen...(i have at least 3 friends who have already left me) i remind myself..
