I have the WOW factor!!

This WOW thing has been in my spirit for the past few days.... These three words, Walking On Water just keep popping out in my head.

Walking on water is a miracle Jesus performed recorded in the Gospel. Colloquially, Walking on water has been used as a term when a seemingly impossible task is actually being managed. Being a Christian is like a long walk with my Daddy GOD. There are times where we walked closely hand in hand,times where I ran off without telling him, or even times where he piggy back me!But image of me walking on Water with him, thrill my spirit!! It speaks of his power because in the natural, no one can walk on water. But is it really that easy… When he called out to me, will I have the faith to step on the water… I can’t help but doubt..

Ok, let’s check out what the bible says.

In Matthew’s account, Peter had that experience too.

Mat 14:23 After dismissing the crowds, he went up on a hill side by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone.

Mat 14:24 By this time the boat was in the middle of the sea and was being battered by the waves, for the wind was against them.

Mat 14:25 Shortly before dawn he came to them, walking on the sea.

Mat 14:26 When the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were terrified and said, "It's a ghost!" And they screamed in terror.

Mat 14:27 Immediately Jesus said to them, "Have courage! It is I. Stop being afraid!"

Mat 14:28 Peter answered him, "Lord, if it's you,order me to come to you on the water."

Mat 14:29 Jesus said, "Come on!" So Peter got down out of the boat, started walking on the water, and came to Jesus.

Mat 14:30 But when he noticed the strong wind, he was frightened. As he began to sink, he shouted, "Lord, save me!"

Mat 14:31 At once Jesus reached out his hand, caught him, and said to him, "You who have so little faith, why did you doubt?"

Looking at the passage, we can confirm a few things..

1. Peter saw Jesus doing it.

2. With this, his faith arose and he asked the Lord

3. Peter did walk

4. but he also sank..

5. Lord Jesus rebuked him, asking why he has so little faith.

First thing, we must be able to see our Lord Jesus doing it… I think this is not that difficult for a Christian.

In response to this, we must react with FAITH. For as he is, so am i!!

More often than not.. When we read abt his miracles, we see it as a story that has absolutely nothing to do with us. Even when a miracle is to happen to someone around us, we just takeit that the person is blessed. Very Seldom, we see ourselves as the protagonist of a miracles!

But Jesus never meant it that way… The Bible speaks to you… you personally!! The story is not for ah boon, Peter, Andrew only… it is for any believers who have the faith to take on the promise!!

And we have to ask!!  “Jesus, I ask today, let me Benjamin, walks on water with you!”

Mat 14:30 But when he noticed the strong wind, he was frightened. As he began to sink, he shouted, "Lord,save me!"

Come on, isn’t it so human and so US…. Imagining myself walk on water… but then suddenly this strong blows, this time sure die liao!!

SO logical rite?WRONG!!!!

In the first place, how can I walk on water? If I am able to, it is a miracle rite? Then does it make any difference if there is any wind or storm.

This is the devil plot,to distract us, to put fear into us… with things around us.. And it always work. I am not going fall for it!!!

“Lord, help me to keep my eyes on you but not on my surrounding! For it is you that matters… not the world!”

I will keep mediating yr words and I know I have the WOW in me, because of you Jesus who is able to do
exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in me!!
