People can say what they want about this interview but honestly you can see they are very in love. It's actually pretty sweet regardless of what it was during or what followed. Seeing how much he loved her actually makes his death feel even more heartbreaking. We're all human and flaws are just another part of us.

Well, it won't be as beautiful or genius a film as AUTOLUMINESCENT (everyone who cares about rock music should watch AUTOLUMINESCENT. because Michael Hutchence wasn't as beautiful as Rowland S. Howard was. Or as much of a genius as Rowland S. Howard was, more to the point. But Michael Hutchence was rather beautiful, and something close to genius. So it'll be a rather beautiful, something close to genius film. And I'm glad to hear that Richard Lowenstein's directing it. He's a wise and talented man, and he has first-hand experience of the Australian music scene.
Someday we all will Disappear and it doesn´t matter if you are Super rich or a stone in a river.

Michael was depressed and very unhappy about how and what/where his life was headed. Paula insisting to wed, he didn't even want to stay with her. They had an open relationship. Paula would threaten to kill Tiger and herself if Michael left the relationship and didn't marry her. He was fed up! He loved his baby girl, Tiger, but Paula would hold her from Michael. What happened to Michael? He became a battered man. Men n can be abused as well. I know you'd rather hear something else! It's just the truth.
Dar una visión cercana, más allá de la imagen de gran estrella y del amarillismo que rodeó el suicidio del Michael Hutchence, líder de la banda INXS, es el objetivo que tuvo el cineasta Richard Lowenstein en un documental que presenta en el prestigioso Festival de Cine de Karlovy Vary, en la República Checa. El filme, titulado Mystify: Michael Hutchence, va alternando videos caseros con otros en los que se ve al cantante australiano en la intimidad, junto a escenas de sus actuaciones, así como entrevistas y opiniones de sus amigos, familiares y parejas, entre ellas la también cantante Kylie Minogue.
El australiano Lowenstein (1959), que trabajó durante 13 años rodando los vídeoclips de los mayores éxitos de INSX, como “Need you tonight” o “New Sensations”, explica que su intención ha sido presentar un testimonio fiel sobre la vida y la muerte de Hutchence.
El cofundador de INXS tenía 37 años cuando el 22 de noviembre de 1997 su cuerpo sin vida fue hallado en la habitación del hotel en el que se alojaba en Sydney.

It's been over 22 years since Michael Hutchence of INXS took his life. This 2019 documentary was worth that wait. Beautifully made. The team behind this doc has included so much stunning footage shot by Michael himself, and by those around him, as well as file footage of the time. They've compiled a work of art and a realistic portrait of Hutchence's life. There is so much we learn in this about his final few dramatic and tumultuous years. There are contemporary interviews included, but no video / talking heads of them speaking now. This was the right choice by the filmmakers. It's simply contextual narration over the footage of the time. It was painstakingly edited/produced, and one of the best documents on a musical personality I've seen in decades. Highly recommend.
So that bastard, he adopted her, he's rich, and why doesn't Lowenstein help her to sue to get her money for her to survive, another one, making money off her, nice he bought her dinner. Karma for both of these men. So bad.

Essa música é uma das melhores dos caras, mas só quem é fã mesmo que tem essa noção e o prazer de admirá-la.
It's clear that MH was deeply troubled and suffered poor mental health. It's clear that he was exploited by many over the years. It's also clear that INXS were a pop band that was nothing without Michael and Paula was not the world's best influence.
In the end though the doc is very one sided/whitewashed bringing nothing new to the table.

This band has been my all time favorite since I first hearded in 1989. I will never forget seeing INXS in concert in Caracas, Venezuela on April 30th 1994 ( I still have the ticket slipped in the “Live Baby Live” album. When he died three years later I was crushed on November 22nd 1997. I just couldnt believe it because he was an amazing artist, performer and sweet soul. A few months ago I have felt the urge to look everywhere for videos, documentaries, etc. In order to see them again. I surely miss Michael Hutchence and the band! Looking forward to see this new documentary.

So thankful for the great feelings that he, and the band, and the music have always provided me. I get frustrated when I think of the tragic end that he did not deserve. I try to imagine, if 97 didn't happen. Maybe one more resurgence for INXS. One more top 10 hit, with a successful tour in the era of an expanding modern media. Then, finally winding down, making mommy's dance at the 80's fests. Rock hall induction. Occasionally stopping by for a laugh, and sharing stories on tv. It just wasn't meant to be.

De chico escuchaba artistas como Ramones y también cantaba canciones como "Motorcycle Song" de Arlo Guthrie, "Hey Jude" de The Beatles a una temprana edad. Lovely performance, what a band, what a singer, what an emotion this brings.
Never in my life have I seen anything like him before, he was part animal part human, moved like a cat and had everything. What happened to him was a complete and utter tragedy. That brain injury was far worse than first expected and it killed him in the end. There are lots of internet posts going about over this subject right now and its become apparent where he was heading. He even started to forget lyrics in concerts during 1997. yeah it all got too much and he was a suicide risk and then it went bang. Totally tragic. A talent like that. The taxi driver who did it needs shooting.
That was on my birthday RIP Michael.
I'm thankful I got to see INXS twice, in the 80's. I was so sad when I heard of Michael's passing. Such an underrated talent. ♥️.
