Samsung Galaxy Golden Release DateSamsung is about to beat Apple to the punch by announcing itssmartwatch far ahead of Apples expectedunveiling next year and it wont be the first timebeats Apple to an announcement. The South Korea-based electronics giant on Wednesday unveiled the Galaxy Golden, an Android flip phone that features two3.7-inch AMOLED displays with WVGA resolution. According to SammyHub, other specs includea 1.7GHz dual-core processor, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera, LTE support, a 1,820 mAh battery and the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. It also ships in a champagne gold color, which just so happens to be quite similar to . The Galaxy Golden will launch soon in South Korea but no plans were shared regarding a more widespread launch.
