About the role

 

There is currently a job opening “International Group & Help Desk Agent” in the Department of International Help Desk. As an International Group & Help Desk Agent you will report to International Group & Help Desk Team Leader and will be responsible for supporting Italian travel agents in Italian market and handle their group requests. If you are passionate about tourism and networking with international travel agencies, this job is for you!

 

What you will do:

  • Respond to Italian travel agents on issues with respect to flight reservations, tickets and EMDs (Electronic Miscellaneous Documents)
  • Handle timely helpdesk issues with the interaction of Italian sales
  • Assist and guide via telephone, e-mail and Aegean Hub the Italian travel agents according to company’s procedures and policy
  • Process ad-hoc groups and group series for Italian market
  • Work towards qualitative and quantitative growth of group business with the interaction of Italian sales
  • Provide reports regarding the help desk & the group business and filing of requests/approvals
  • Provide F1 (Farelogix) assistance and guidance to the travel agents in all markets

 

You fit, if you cover the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Tourism
  • At least 1 year working experience with reservations systems at either an airline or travel agency 
  • Native or excellent knowledge of Italian
  • Fluency in oral and written Greek and English
  • Knowledge of one of the following languages will be considered as an asset: German or/and French or/and Spanish 
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
