PURPOSE

• Providing administrative support to the Outside Sales Team, Trade (B to B) customer service, and contributing to increase revenue through Group and Allocation handling.

 

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

This roll will be responsible for including;
- Responding to inquiries from Outside Sales Team, TMCs and travel

agents on email and phone
- Administrative support to produce Corporate and TMC/Agent

contracts and Ticketing instructions
- Handling and pricing request of group and allocation bookings

including communication with agents and HQ - Updating and maintaining distribution lists
- ADM/ACM through BSP Link
- Providing administrative assistance as required - Other duties as required

 

 

 KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Native-level Japanese ability both written and spoken

  • Fluent in both written and spoken English

  • Knowledge of GDSs and ticketing essential

  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel

  • Must be comfortable in a sales environment although previous sales experience is not required

  • High level of organisational skills to prioritise workload, accuracy and flexibility

  • Knowledge of ATPCO Fare manager is desirable

  • Ability to work without direct supervision and to take initiative to respond

    to procedural queries and request without referring to Account Managers.

  • Achievement of specific targets, such as accurate and timely revenue reporting and calculation of revenue and cost budget accruals.

  • Customer service driven

  • Have a UK work permission

KEY RELATIONSHIPS & DECISION MAKING

Reports to: Assistant Manager
Direct Reports: None
• Internally, the job holder will have regular contact with the Assistant

 

Manager as well as daily contact with the Country Sales Manager UK and

Ireland and the account management team.

  • Externally, the job holder will have daily contact with travel agents and

    corporate clients.

  • The job holder will have limited decision-making authority.
