artificial and natural

こんにちは。マイルズです。

For our most recent Geography class, I began by teaching the children about different types of islands, focusing on the English words "artificial" and "natural".
地理のクラスではいろんな島についてお話を進めています。”人工”　”自然”にできた島を説明するに当たり、artificial と　natural という語彙に注目しました。
Then, we looked at pictures of different islands, and tried to guess whether they were natural (like Awaji Island) or artificial (like Kansai airport).

それから異なった島の写真を見て、淡路島のように、どれが自然にできた島か、関西空港のように人工島かを推測します。

Finally, we reviewed some of the other Geography terms we'd learned in previous lessons. Everyone enjoyed the lesson and learned something new!
最後に前回学習した地理用語を復習しました。みんな楽しんでまた新しいことも学べました。
