アップグレードの解説の続きです。
スポンサーアップグレード。ようは、自分以外の同行者のアップグレードについてです。
500マイルアップグレードはｅ－アップグレード証書の同行者と同一行程の1名のみ。
コンファームド系のConfirmed Regional UpgradeとSystem Wide Upgradesは同行しなくてもＯＫです。
同行しない場合でも使用者の名前と予約記録の番号がわかれば、united.comから手続きができます。

How do I sponsor an upgrade?
New, with you united.com’s request upgrade feature, you may sponsor a member for upgrade without having to go to the airport. Simply have the last name of the person you want to sponsor and their United Airlines confirmation number. Select the Sponsor upgrades link, and enter the pertinent information.
