３連休ってことで壊してしまったXP機の復旧に取り組んでいたんですが、新しいマザーボードに変えたらXPがインストールできまへん。
インストールメディアから要なファイルをドライブにコピーするのは問題なくでき、その後windowsをインストールするときにドライバの構成でブルースクリーン（久々に見た...）になりました。
内容はこんな感じ↓

ちなみに構成は以下。
マザボ：intel Desktop Board DP35DP
ＣＰＵ：Dual-Core2 Duo E8400
メモリ：DDR2-667 DIMM 1GB x 4
グラボ：nVIDIA GF8400GS-LE256H/HS
ＨＤＤ：Hitachi製 SATA接続 80GB
キーボード以外は差し込んでない状態で開始しましたし、インストールの段階だからムダなソフトなんて入ってませんし、CMOSもクリアしましたし...
とりあえず日本のフォーラムをうろうろして、メモリかグラボ(nVIDIAのドライバのバグ)の問題かもしれないという情報を得ました。
じゃあってことでメモリを現在健康に稼働中のVista機のととっかえてみたり、グラボをnVIDIAのじゃないのにかえてみたりイロイロやったけどどれもダメ ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ!!
すっかり意気消沈しながらも、気力を振り絞って海外のフォーラムをうろうろしていると同じ境遇の人のスレをいくつか発見。
えーとなになに... 『If your desktop board includes PCI Express* capability, you must use Windows XP with Service Pack 2, which includes support for PCI Express.』 （もしあなたのデスクトップボードがPCIExpressを装着可能なら、PCIExpressのサポートを含んでいるService Pack 2のWindows XPを用いなければなりません。）
... つまりService Pack 1はインストールできないと？ そりゃないぜ...orz
いや、外人共が間違っているんだ！ と再ぶっ壊し覚悟でシコシコ試行錯誤中です。
