Carlos Ghosn, the hard-nosed businessman who restructured Nissan, was arrested Nov. 19 on suspicion of underreporting his income. The Brazil-born, Lebanese-raised chairman had a major influence on Japanese business, being known as both a ruthless cost-cutter and a hero for resuscitating Nissan.
