Crazy for K-pop

K-pop has hit a new high in the global music scene with the boy group BTS. Late last month, the seven-member unit became the first Korean act to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart with their album“Love Yourself: Tear.”It is also the first primarily foreign language album to scale that peak since Ⅱ Divo's“Ancora” in 2006.

Kポップの新星、防弾少年団

韓国のヒップホップグループ「BTS」(防弾少年団)が、アルパム「LOVE YOURSELF 轉‘Tear’」で，米ビルボード・アルバムチャートの1位になりました。Kポップでは初の快拳。英語以外が主な楽曲アルバムがトップになるのは、200(j年のボーカルグルーブ・イル・ディーヴォ以来。防弾少年団は「抑圧や偏見を防いでくれる少年」という意味を込めたといいます。
