【 Circulous Brocken Specter Bow on the Cloud along the Bering Strait 】
ブロッケン現象、英語ではブロッケンの妖怪、と呼ばれるようです。
太陽が天空にあり、平らかな雲の平原が広がっていて、その間を僕の乗ったセスナ機が飛んでいた、と３つの要素がうまく組み合わさって雲の裏側（上面あるいは表面）に、円い虹が出来て、その上に飛行機のシルエットが投影されました。
Between the sun in the deep sky and the smooth cloud above the ground, a small airplane Cessan Caravan, wherein I could enjoy the Alaskan beauty, flying over the Bering Sea coast. The sunbeam passed around the plane and produced a circle of seven colours, a rainbow, if I could say so, on the cloud, with a black shadow of the plane.
2016年8月8日、ポツリポツリと微細な雨粒が落ちるノーム飛行場を発ち、ベーリング海峡の村ウェールズに向かう途中、空中に浮かんでいる雲の下は雨でも、雲の上の宇宙はいつも快晴です。
世界のどこでもそうですが、雨の後、太陽が燦燦として顔を見せる時は、虹が期待できるものです。８月８日、雲の上の太陽は何物にも遮られることなく、真夏の輝きでした。・・・ので、どこかに虹が見られる、と期待して窓の外を眺めていると、円い虹が、完璧な形で出現しました。カメラを向けていたのは僕だけのようです。
（写真で気付いたのですが、もう一つの虹が、うっすらと外側に見えました。）

On August 8th, 2016, the Cessna left Nome Airport for Wales Airport near the Bering Strait.
Under the clouds, onto the ground slight rain drops were falling. However the blue sky above the clouds was absolutely sunny. There was nothing to disturb the proceed of the sunbeam, which meant that there would appear some rainbow somewhere.
Yes, there came a circle rainbow with a dark shadow of my small airplane on it, being seen out of the left side seat's window. There were no passengers taking pictures of that attractive event, except me.
これをブロッケン現象と呼ぶそうですが、僕にとっては2回目です。
初めての経験は、2016年5月4日、北海道の宗谷海峡に行った時、稚内から札幌の間でした。別の稿で述べますが、201６年8月9日アラスカのコッツビュー辺りで、11日には北極海のポイントバロー（新田次郎の『アラスカ物語』でしられてに行く途中、円い虹とジェット機が雲の裏側にくっきりと映っているのを、２０～３０分くらい観察していました。
It is called Brocken Specter (Bow).
On May 4th, 2016, it was my first experience to sight the Brocken, when I was flying toward Sapporo from Wakkanai in Hokkaido.
（北海道のブロッケン現象：僕の初めての観察でした。）

On the following days in Alaska, I viewed some more circle rainbows with silhuettes of big jets, one was around Kotzebue and the others were between the Northernmost city Barrow along the Arctic Ocean and Fairbanks, which shall be reffered to in my following blogs soon.
（このような平滑な雲があると、虹の円は完璧になりそうです。・・・でも雲があるからいつも虹が見られるとは言えません。）
( While this sort of velvety clouds are floating, perfect Brocken Circles might be expected, however not always. )
