リハも一段落したところで、本番が近づいてきた。入部希望でよく出入りしてる１年女子達が徐々に集まってくる。男子もいるが、やはり女子多め。
ベースを抱えた椎名を見て、賑やかな音楽選択クラスの女子グループがざわついている。
「オレ、4組の平野さん結構ファンなんだ」
カッキーが推してる平野真侑は、音楽棟女子のオシャレ番長。垢抜けててギャルっぽいけど、人懐こくて話しやすい。見た感じ、どうやら椎名のファン。ドラム・レクチャーの流れで軽音に来た中の一人だ。
「集まってくれてありがとう。んじゃ１曲だけ、エアロスミスの"Sweet Emotion"、演るねー」
吉田部長の言葉に、女子が沸く。
