This is a picture of St Lawrence River from La Citadelle de Québec. The surface of the river was freezed over and ship’s traces draw the lines. It would be totally different from the scenery in summer. Besides, It took few minutes for me to recognize that this is the river, and I supposed that I want to walk on the hard ice someday although it might be dangerous.
I like this kind of roof shaped steep in order not to get snow on the roof. I can feel like I really am in abroad. I also like western style buildings consist of bricks which Quebec City has. I think these are cool and fashionable, and exposed bricks are trendy these days as well. I am interested in this sort of designs. I mean that I would like to know the background how they are built.
