I took my Mexican friends to Sushi restaurant in order to introduce Japanese foods. They told me that they tried sushi in their country, and the sushi in Mexico include meat and Avocado and more. That is not sushi, that sounds completely different compared with real sushi, I supposed.

There are a lot of sushi restaurants in Toronto, but there are few types of sushi. That’s why It doesn’t enough to explain Japanese sushi. I was frustrated because I wanted to tell them how delicious Japanese foods are. fortunately, however, they are totally satisfied with sushi.

It was the first time for them to use chopsticks as well. They told me that they call chopsticks “Chinese sticks” in Mexico. The difference of culture was interesting for me. We have great opportunities to try other traditional foods and custom in Toronto that is multicultural city.
