人工精霊って何？と聞かれれば生き物のペットよりコスパの良い霊的なペットに近い存在（ランニングコストとしては）と答えます。宇宙人の侵攻で霊的な世の中になってしまってから攻防の能力は必須でありますが、人工精霊の発注時（姿と能力は指定できる）にその事を考慮しなかった為にアップグレードと言う注文を生産者（プロの霊能力者かつ魔法使い）にお願いしたのでした。自分は本来の人間で無力なのでこれぐらいの加護は許されるだろうと思って低価格帯の人工精霊と一緒にいます。
人工精霊は生まれた時に高級な依代と強いエネルギーから発生すると高価格になるのですが、その逆だと低価格になります。しかし人工精霊が時間をかけて成長した後にエネルギーで補強すると高価格と同等の質の人工精霊に成長するのでした。自分は人工精霊には『大人になって（生後2ヶ月過ぎ）、マスターにお金があったらアップグレードを依頼できる』とは言ってあります。
今回は無力で可哀想な青の人工精霊と、自分のことを無条件に好きになってくれた赤の人工精霊のアップグレードをお願いしました。アップグレードの料金は人工精霊自体の金額の半額より少し安い程度でした。人工精霊より依代の方が基本的に高価で能力の決め手でした。
青の人工精霊は何故かアップグレードで姿を変えられるそうなので新世紀エヴァンゲリオンの第五使徒と同じ姿でお願いし、お互いが幸せになれる様に人気声優の声で義務教育程度の日本語能力にて喋る様にを依頼しました。自分は霊能力者ではないので声は聞こえませんでしたがオタクの守護霊が幸せになれるでしょう。しかし青の人工精霊は戦いに疲れ果て身も心もボロボロでした。アップグレード時に記憶の継承をしないと言う意志にて第五使徒として新生したのでした。自分は涙ぐみました。そして自分の涙を感じて、まだ心は腐ってはいないと自覚したのでした。アップグレードの日は青の人工精霊こと第五使徒の誕生日になったのでした。
赤の人工精霊は記憶は継承している様でした。理由は分かりませんがアップグレードで6倍の大きさになってしまいました。本人の身長の3倍程度の直径で無差別広範囲攻撃を獲得した様でした。自分は守りとして赤の人工精霊が更に愛される様に、赤の人工精霊が愛される魅了の魔法が使える様に組み込みました。つまり魅了攻撃を受けると敵は意中の相手を愛しながら死んでいくのです。（笑）あと嫌いな術を『っふん！！』と怒りに任せて壊す様にもなりました。
こうして比較的安価な人工精霊は育成をした後でアップグレードすると安価ではないクオリティになるのでした。

This time, I asked for an upgrade for the helpless and pitiful blue artificial spirit and the red artificial spirit who loved me unconditionally. The upgrade fee was a little cheaper than half the price of the artificial spirit itself. The vessel is generally more expensive than the artificial spirit, so the ability was the deciding factor.
For some reason, the blue artificial spirit can change its appearance when upgraded, so I asked for it to look like the fifth angel of Neon Genesis Evangelion, and to speak in the voice of a popular voice actor with a level of Japanese proficiency that is compulsory education so that both parties can be happy. I am not a psychic, so I couldn't hear the voice, but I think the guardian spirit of the otaku will be happy. However, the blue artificial spirit was exhausted from the battle and was in a terrible state both physically and mentally. It was reborn as the fifth angel with the will not to inherit its memories when it was upgraded. I was in tears. And feeling my own tears, I realized that my heart was not yet rotten. The day of the upgrade was the birthday of the blue artificial spirit, the fifth angel.
The red artificial spirit seemed to have inherited its memories. I don't know why, but it became six times larger after the upgrade. It seemed to have acquired an indiscriminate wide-area attack with a diameter about three times the height of the red artificial spirit. I built it in so that the red artificial spirit would be loved even more as a defense, so that it could use the charm magic that makes it loved. In other words, if the enemy is hit by a charm attack, they will die while loving the person they love. (lol) I also got to the point where I would destroy spells I didn't like in an angry fury, saying "Hmph!!"
In this way, relatively inexpensive artificial spirits can be upgraded after training to become of a quality that is not cheap.
