During the golden week, we enjoyed bird-watching and their songs every day.
Wind through the fresh leaves was also super refreshing.

On the way from Mt. Kagenobu to Mt. Takao, there were bush warblers everywhere.
They're such a nice singer.

The Japan Meteorological Agency announced the first cold blast, which represented the beginning of winter though.

It was a crisp autumn day that made us turn our steps to 'Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden' after a long time.

We went hiking from Mt. Kagenobu to Mt. Takao after a long time.

We met a popular cat of Shiroyama-chaya.

We called her 'Yama'.

'Higanbana' there were at their best.

Since then, we could see baby ducks every time we went the river side park for jogging.

Different families with many size of babies never bored us.

My husband likes the tiny little duck with yellow cheek.

A cat was looking at us.

She was more interested in us than ducks.

It was a sunny weather during the rainy season, a tall 'Sagi' bathed in the fountain.

13 baby ducks made their river debut yesterday.

They were blessed with both charm and bravery.

They made a round trip between Jido-Koutsu Park and Omiya-Hachiman Shrine.

What a long swim.

東京都庭園美術館

The other day, during GW, we visited Tokyo Metropolitan TEIEN Art Museum.

It was a residence of Asaka-no-miya, the imperial family.
It's now published as a museum.

Since they stayed in France during the golden age of Art Deco, their residence architectures are all Art Deco style.

It's very nice to take a closer look of those valuable historic beauty of Art Deco.

This is an approach to the museum.

It has a large garden.
Everything looks gorgeous.

The exhibition 'Masks : Beauty of the Spirits' were very interesting.

Two different yarn, Mohair and Cashmere, will keep me warm and cozy, especially now the weather is set to turn even colder.

年越しの大祓

This year, it's been quite hectic with work.

My husband transferred to the busiest office last summer and since then, we've been thinking about 'work work work'

Well, we went to our guardian god shrine last weekend.

We passed through a big grass ring for purification ceremony.

To greet a happy New Year of Sheep, I made some new items with wool.
These are for our sisters.

The right smaller size is for his sister in Hokkaido.
Maybe I'd better go to the post office in a hurry.

And these are for us.
Icelandic woollen yarn is very warm.
