What a tragedy is happening in my Country 🇦🇺 😭 #prayforaustralia #Repost @thegingerwanderlust with @make_repost ・・・ I was lucky enough to spend a year living in Australia, hiking through incredible landscapes 🏃♀️, seeing the amazing diverse wildlife 🐨 and meeting the friendliest, most chilled out people 😎. I can’t believe what is currently happening in Australia, an estimated 12 MILLION acres of land has been lost to bush fires, an area larger than the Netherlands!! Nearly HALF A BILLION ANIMALS have perished and countless homes have been destroyed 🔥. These specially balanced ecosystems, which have taken thousands of years to form, are now gone in a matter of weeks 😢. The smoke has spread so far that it’s travelled over 4000km to New Zealand! My thoughts are with all the communities battling these tragedies 🙏. .... YOU CAN HELP!
