Uematsu finished second on floor exercise at the 2008 Grand Prix held in Ostrava,
Czech Republic.
Tsurumi helped the Japanese women finish fifth at the 2008 Olympic Games, where
she also placed eighth on the balance beam and competed in the all-around finals.
At the 2008 World Cup Final, she earned the bronze medal on the uneven bars and
placed seventh on the floor exercise.
Tsurumi was a member of the 2007 Japanese World Championships Team and is
the 2006-08 Japanese all-around champion.

FIG主催のイベント。
First Gymnastic FIG Challenge Ever
体操関係のクラブ・団体による団体競技の初めての世界大会。
（the first international competition for gymnastic clubs and associations）
日本からも参加を表明している団体があるとか（どこ？）。
1st Gym for Life Challenge 2009 (official )
All FIG member federations are invited to take part in this new and exciting FIG event
that will be organized every fourth year (between the World Gymnaestrada).
With a gymnastic program, not longer than 5 minutes, with one or both genders,
any Gymnastic group can participate. All forms of gymnastic can be included,
like Gymnastics and Dance or Gymnastics on or with apparatus.
All groups will be evaluated by a selected group of Experts of the FIG.

各団体5分以内
男子・女子・男女混合いずれでも可
どんな体操団体でも参加可（体操競技・ダンス・器械体操 etc.）

こういうものもFIGの主催でやるんだなぁと思ってみてました。
