GENIUS TABLE in KYOTO+DESIGN WEEK KYOTO 2016

ハイセンスな宿泊施設＆カフェLE9さんがアップ下さっています。
ジニアステーブルin京都と、デザインウイーク京都。
２つの企画が見事に融合し大変貴重な体験をさせていただきました。

昨日は世界で唯一の畳の楽器で演奏するバンド、日本畳楽器製造のライブ&交流会がLE9で行なわれました！
第一部のライブはカフェスペースで行なわれ、総勢11名＋ロボット2台というすごい編成での演奏に圧倒されました！LE9に宿泊しているゲストも彼らの演奏を聴いてとても楽しそうでした。
そして、第二部はホステル２階ダイニングスペースでの交流会。バンドリーダー西脇さんの畳にまつわるクイズや紙芝居を交えたお話を聞きながらワイワイとたこ焼きをつつき合うアットホームなイベントになりました。

LE9 スタッフ一同
The Japanese Tatami Instrument Manufacturers (the one and only band playing live music with instruments made from Tatami) held a live event yesterday at LE9.
The live performance started off at the LE9 cafe space, where we were overwhelmed by the dynamic performance of the band, which consists of 11 people and 2 ROBOTS!!!
It seemed like the guests staying at LE9 were also very intrigued and taken aback by their performance!
For the second part, we had an exchange meeting between both band members and guests at the dining space area on the second floor of LE9. While having quizzes and picture stories shown by Nishiwaki-san (The band leader) we made Takoyaki to compliment the homely atmosphere of LE9’s upstairs dining/living room.
