ちょっとご無沙汰してました！
ここ最近、謎の湿疹と痛みに悩まされてます。。。
お見苦しい写真ですみませんが、こんな感じの湿疹です
最初は肩の痛みからはじまりました。
なんというか、骨がひっかかるような感じっていうんですかね、脱臼しかかっているような、そんな痛み。
毎日泳ぎに行ってるので、ちょっと無理したかなくらいに思ってたのですが、日に日に痛みが増してきて、
ある日ふと見たらこの湿疹...湿疹の部位が熱を持っていて腫れています。
痛みがあるんで、これはあれやな、帯状疱疹やなーと思うじゃないですか
実は以前に一度ひどい帯状疱疹やってまして、これは再発か？と皮膚科に行ってきました。
皮膚の細胞を取ってもらって調べてもらったのですが、なんと帯状疱疹ではないでーとのこと
そしたら、何なんや
いろいろ調べてみたら、「皮膚筋炎」に症状がピッタリなんよ。これか！
いやいや、もしかしたら、もしかして前立腺癌が肩に転移しているのかも？と最悪の想定までしてしまいました。
いてもたってもいられず、泌尿器科の先生にアポをとって診察してもらいました。
血液検査で、皮膚筋炎になると数値があがると言われるCK（クレアチンキナーゼ）とPSAのチェックをしてもらいました。
結果は…
CKは標準値、PSAは0.43
いずれも問題なしでした。結局なんだか分からず終い
むむむ
仕方ないので、先日皮膚科で処方してもらった痛み止めを飲んで塗り薬をつけてみることにしました。
ちなみにPSAは前回5月末の時点で0.15でしたので、3倍弱にはなっています。
が、泌尿器科の先生曰く
「ホルモン治療やっていなくて、この数値だったら、間違いなく転移はしてないので安心してください
」
いやー、本当にもしかして転移しているかもと思っていただけに、安心しました。
しかし、一体何なんやろか、この湿疹と肩の痛みは
なかなかしぶとい奴ですが、しばらく様子を見てみます。

[34] Mysterious rash and pain...
Lately, I've been dealing with this mysterious rash and pain...
I'm sorry for the unappealing photo, but this is what the rash looks like.
It all started with shoulder pain.
It's like... a sensation of bones scraping against each other, almost like it's about to dislocate.
I go swimming every day, so I initially thought I might have overdone it. But as the days went by, the pain intensified, and one day, I noticed this rash... The area with the rash felt warm and swollen.
With the pain, you start thinking, "Could this be shingles again?" I've actually had a bad case of shingles before, so I went to the dermatologist, thinking it might be a recurrence.
They took a sample of my skin cells and ran some tests, but surprisingly, it wasn't shingles.
So, I did some research, and the symptoms seemed to match "dermatomyositis" perfectly. Could it be this?!
But then, I started to think the worst... Could it possibly be prostate cancer metastasizing to my shoulder?
I couldn't just sit around, so I made an appointment with a urologist.
They did blood tests to check the levels of CK (creatine kinase), which are supposed to increase with dermatomyositis, and PSA.
And the results are...
The CK levels were within the normal range, and PSA was at 0.43.
Both were fine. In the end, I was left not knowing what it could be.
So, I decided to try the painkillers and ointments prescribed by the dermatologist the other day.
By the way, my PSA was 0.15 back in late May, so it's increased by almost three times. But according to the urologist, "If you're not undergoing hormone therapy and your PSA is at this level, there's definitely no metastasis, so you can rest assured."
Phew, I was really relieved because I had been worried that it might be metastasis.
But, what on earth could this rash and shoulder pain be?
It's quite stubborn, but I'll keep an eye on it for a while.
