Sources tell the network that a "star struck" collector, upon learning Miller's sample would not come back clean, substituted another person's urine. Though a source told ESPN they were "reasonably certain" no exchange of money took place, the news is forcing the NFL and NFLPA to re-examine drug testing policy.
Miller currently is serving a six-game suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy. The ESPN report clears up questions as to why his initial four-game suspension was increased. As it turns out, the discovery that a player has tried to cheat the NFL system is worth only a couple of extra weeks of leave.
