Foursquare, a location app for smartphones and tablets, analyzed more than 2 billion check-ins during Black Friday 2011 to determine the most popular retailers. From 10 of those top stores, here are some of the advertised deals you can expect to see this Thursday or Friday.

Stores should be closed on Thursday so retail employees can have a day off to spend with their family. If you shop on Thursday you re telling the companies that you are ok with them making their employees work on this holiday.
I used to work in retail it is hard to have to leave your family. One day of Black Friday is enough you already have to go to work at the crack of dawn on Black Friday. I never shop on Thanksgiving Day. Leave Thursday as a day of Thanks
You people that participate in this pathetic display of materialism are everything that is wrong with this country. Not only do you cherish the need to waste money you dont have on junk you dont need; your sheep like mentality to follow the media brainwashing screws retail workers into having to spend Thanksgiving catering to your worthless a$$. Get a life and find other things besides buying Fleeced Crocs at 11:30 PM on Thanksgiving night to bring you happiness. Allow me to reiterate….LOSERS each and everyone of you.
There is no need for these stores to be opened on Thanksgiving day. There isn’t anything you need on Thursday that can’t wait until Friday. It’s not like it is a hospital, fire, or police that ACTUALLY need to work on holidays. Don’t go shopping and thank those people that work jobs that serve the community. Let the retail employees spend time with their families
They are talking to the stores/malls that are opening on Thanksgiving night (7-8 p.m.). I, for one,AM still enjoying time with my family at that hour.
I am disgusted by the stores opening on Thanksgiving night. As a former retail employee of 12 years, I was only guaranteed two days a year to enjoy with my family. Thankfully I have parted ways with retail because this would have me absolutely livid with the higher-ups. They aren’t the ones that have to give up time with their families so it really doesn’t matter to them. My heart hurts for friends that have yet to leave the mall life because this has become insane. Why have a holiday called “Thanksgiving” when you’re giving these employees very little to be thankful for? If you are one of those that choose to shop on Thursday night, at least be kind to these employees. You all are at your most obnoxious on Black Friday and these employees are leaving their families to put up with you.
