The news about the "Lehman Shock" is creating a sensation.
But there were some Japanese who didn't know the Lehman Bros.
One of my girlfriend's colleagues said that,
"when I heard the news about Lehman for the first time, I thought that news was about US corporate employees!"
Though Japanese call a corporate employee "SalaRyman" or "Ryman", that word is Japanglish (= Japanese English)!
And Lehman Bros isn't a minor company, is it?
