ロンがしもやけになってしまいました！
帰って来てから、後ろ足を休むことなくずーっと舐めていました。
「かゆい」とも訴えられないロンに、「今はかゆくてもじきに治るよ」とも伝えられず、
ただかわいそうでかわいそうで…。
インターネットで調べたら、お散歩から帰ったらぬるま湯で洗ってあげるとよい、とか
肉球にワックスをぬってあげるとよい、とかいろいろ書いてありました。
さっそくスプレー式の肉球のお手入れ剤を探してきてあげたら、
両親の介護の甲斐あって、だいぶ良くなり、最近はあまり舐めなくなりました。
そういえば、年末に実家のセントラルヒーティングの暖房機が突然止まってしまい、
ハロゲンヒーターを引っ張り出したら、ロンがヒーターの前で丸くなって寝た、と聞きました。
寒い中、両親はロンに一番あたたかいヒーターの前を陣取られ、それでもそのまま寝かせてあげていたようです。
えぇ～、柴犬なのにぃ～？
しっかりしてよー。
と思わなくもないですが、やっぱりこの顔を見ていると、叱咤激励などできず、
お散歩のあとには両手でロンの肉球を温めてあげている、ロンにデレデレのねこです。
Two weeks ago, right after we had havy snow, I took Ron out for a walk.
I always let him lead me, and as a matter of course, we end up walking over two hours.
When we finally got back home that day, I noticed he's got obsessed with licking his paws.
My poor Ron...
All of his paws were frostbitten...
It should be easier if he were a human boy;
I could explain him that it's gonna be fine in the next few days if he leave it that way,
and talk him into stop licking.
I felt so sorry for him all the more, because he was a doggie and that he does not understand language.
I bought a paw-care cream for him, and ever since,
I do not fail to rub it and to hand warm his paws after our long walk.
