Thanks to K's mother who had brought up K and his sister thoroughly home-prepared food
that all taste so good,
K has a delicate palate, though he is a picky eater.
Every year, she prepares traditional Japanese dish for the New Year's Day for us,
and among them, there's a couple of foods K wouldn't eat.
One is tangle (seaweed) roll, fish in the middle.
I have, once in a while, challenged his eating habits, sometimes with a success.
And I tried tangle roll this time.
I cut the roll thin so that he could eat it easily.
I found it lately that that kind of thing matters his tastes significantly...
Haven't got his comment yet, but hoping that he liked it.
