昨日のねこファームでの収穫物は、ニンジンのすぐり菜。
ニンジンはちゃんとすぐってあげないと、大きく育ちません。
ねこはすぐるという作業があまり得意じゃありませんが、
ニンジンは、この時期の柔らかい葉を天ぷらにしたらとても美味しいので、
毎年楽しみにしているのです。
でも葉物の天ぷらはせっかくパリッと揚がるのに、お弁当に入れるとペタッてなりますよね。
だから細かく砕いてふりかけみたいにしました。

今日のねこ弁

のりサンドご飯とニンジンの葉の天ぷら
ロールキャベツのキノコ添え
ミートソーススパゲッティ-

Neko-farm starts its season with asparagus in May.
Now we are about to harvest the fat sweet peas.
Although we do not expect much harvest in-between,
thinning out carrots-seedlings brings us some unexpected pleasure every year.
I dredge the young carrot leaves in flour and deep fly to crisp.
It's something you can taste only this season.
Carrot's leaves glow too hard to eat pretty soon.
This is one of my father's favorite dishes, and I cooked it for him yesterday.
And today, for my husband for his bento.
However, it cannot keep its crispness in bento, so I crushed it a bit and sprinkled over rice.
I hope my husband likes it, too.
