お義父さんとお義母さんに甘えて綺麗におろしていただき、
ホッケのフライにしました。
新鮮だし、釣ってすぐに内臓を処理したせいか、
いつも感じるホッケの癖がなく、上品な白身のお魚の味がしました。
この巨大エビはお義母さんから頂戴した超高級エビ。
プリップリでした!

We went fishing on Friday,
and we caught over thirty local fish, hokke.
I tried to cut off the heads and clean them at the site,
but it was terribly hard for me to do it
especially when they are still jumping on the rock...
I really wanted to do it myself
so that my husband can keep fishing without bothering the cooking part.
But I finally gave up, and he helped me out.
I talked to myself: they are dying anyway, and what I can do is to kill them at once
and do not let them dye in pain taking long time...
Whatever we say, we take away those lives and live on them.
I feel its like lying to live without blooding our own hands...
Although it took time, I cut off some heads myself and cleaned them in the sea.
Due to the hard and tough work, the fish tasted very good.
And I thanked for the sea and the lives of the fish that nurtured us.
