The web of life on this planet has been already distorted,
and all conservation works need to stand on that understanding.

今朝、イワシが高級魚になったというニュースを見ました。
確かに３年ほど前のこの時期には、イワシでイワシコロッケを作っていましたが、
今ではそんなメニューも頭をよぎらないくらい、高い。
いろんな理由が複雑に絡んでいることは想像に難くありませんが、
興味を引かれた原因に、クジラの増加という項目がありました。
既に自然界のバランスが崩れた後での、特定の動物の保護活動は本当に難しいと思います。
