A little self introduction: my name is Nick, I'm an American in his 20s working at an IT company in Tokyo, and I like craft beer. I've been keeping track of (most) of the beers I've been drinking since moving to Tokyo, writing down a short description and rating for the beer, but up until now I haven't had a way to share it publicly, so I've decided to do so in this blog.
Most of the people I know in Tokyo only speak Japanese, but I have had a fair number of friends who don't speak Japanese also express interest in reading my reviews, so I figured why not do it in both Japanese AND English? I figured if nothing else it'll make this blog stand out a little bit more.
Although my Japanese isn't nearly as good as most of the people writing blogs on Ameba, I hope that anyone reading this will enjoy the chance to read my posts in either, or both Japanese and English!
ちょっとした自己紹介します。僕はニック、東京のIT会社で働いてるクラフトビール好きな２０代アメリカ人。東京に引っ越してからビール飲むたびにその日に飲んだビールの写真や感想をまとめてきた。ただ、今までそのレビューや感想を公共でシェアするところはなかった。そのきっかけこのブログを開始します。
東京に住んでる友達や同僚はほぼ全員日本語しか話せないが、逆に日本語話せない友達のうちに「え？ビールのレビュー書いてるの？読みたい！」みたいなことをゆった人も結構いったので、日本語にも英語にも書いて見たらどうや？っておもった。少なくとも、ちょっとだけでも目立たせるかな。
とにかく、他のアメーバブロッガーと比べて日本語はまだまだだが、読んでる人は日本語も英語も楽しんでいたければとおもいます！
