にもかかわずの使いかた

東京でも目的地が駅から離れているので、

先日バスを利用しました。

I took a bus the other day because the destination was

far from the station despite being in Tokyo.

despiteの使い方はややこしいです。

例えば、次のように使います。

I deciｄed to buy the bag despite the high price.

そのかばんは値段が高いのですが、買うことに決めました。

I decided to buy the bag despite being it expensive.

I dediced to buy the bag its' being expensive.
