I went to
【Yamashiro Shrine】
the other day.
Situated next to the main street,
it was straightforward to get the shrine.
Along the shrine,
It lasts long narrow pass.
As I walked toward to the shrine,
it was getting straied atomosphere aroud.
Walkig up staircase,
suddely, my ears caught the water sounds.
As I followed the sounds,
a huge pond is there next to the staircse.
Before I came to this shrine,
I checked several blogs and
read reviews for this shrine.
Surprisingly, most people commented
this place as "dark".
As soon as I passed the pond,
I understood the meaning.
the atomosphere got very intense, and
I even got goosebumps.
The word "spooky" would be the best
to explain this place.
Seriously, I was ready to run away😂
I really cannot take scary stuff.
and.... In a sudden,
The pretty gurdian dog appeared, and
I was filled with comfort. haha
Thanks to the gurdian dog,
I could reached the main hall.
A big and black
swallowtail butterfly followed me around and
saw me off at the gate.
There are many
shrines, tumuluses and other kinds
in Shimane.
Visting history places
will be my another fun thing to do
on weekends.
