For Sapporo, north-south axis of the TV tower there is a Odori park.
東西の基軸はテレビ塔のふもとを流れる創成川です。
East-west axis of the foot of the tower is flowing Sousei river.
ということで、南５西３と言えば南５条西３丁目のことで、
So, Nishi Speaking of South 5 West 3 at the Minami 5-joNishi 3-chome,
大通りから南に５本目の通りと
5-th street and south Odori,
創成川から数えて西に３本目の通りが交わっている交差点
which intersect at the junction will be the third counting west.
ということになります。
