Birthday presents!

11 November was my birthday.

My darling gave me these presents.

I requested the sunglasses.

Because when we went to Hawaii last summer,

sun shine was quite strong,

so I thought that sunglasses were necessary.

Since I have them,

I can go back to Hawaii any time.

One more present is a CD

which is created by a Japanese Hawaiian musician

called Jake Shimabukuro.

He is one of the famous ukulele players.

Do you know a Japanese film called "Hula Girls"?

He composed the theme music of the film.

Recently, I always listen to his CD.

It is so relaxing

今日の新潟は、秋晴れのいい天気となりましたが、

あなたの町はいかがでしたか？

さて、少し前になりますが、

11月11日は私の誕生日でした。

ダーリンから、こんなプレゼントをもらいましたよ。

サングラスは、私がリクエストして買ってもらいました。

なぜかというと、今年の夏にハワイへ行った時、

日差しが強かったので、サングラスが欲しいと思ったからです。

これさえあれば、いつハワイに行くことになっても大丈夫です。

もう１つは、ハワイ出身の日系ミュージシャン、

ジェイク・シマブクロさんのＣＤです。

彼はウクレレ奏者で、

映画【フラガール】のサウンドトラックも手掛けています。

ジェイクさんの音楽には、いつも癒されています。

また、いつかハワイに行きたいなあ～と思いながら聴いています。
