Hello
My name is Nao Adamson,
a Japanese essayist writing about international marriage.
My darling and I came back from Britain a few weeks ago,
so I would like to tell you about our holiday in the UK.
Well, we stayed in my darling's hometown called Leicester
which is located in the middle of England.
While we were there, Queen Elizabeth visited there
and it became big news.

I hear that this year is her 60th anniversary
and a special tour is planning to visit all over the UK.
Also, Leicester was selected the first city
where the Queen visited.
My darling and I went to the city center to see the Queen.

I saw many people waving British flags,
and some ladies like the Queen's sisters wearing hats.
However, not all of them seemed to be celebrating her visit
because there was a group of people who were against royal family.
They were in the street hold a large sign.
I saw lots of police officers as well.
But in general, people in Leicester welcomed the Queen.

Queen Elizabeth was wearing pink coat
and a two-tone hat of pink and black.
Unfortunately, since there were so many people,
we couldn't see her.
My darling and I went to a cafe to have a rest.

Afterwards, while we were waiting a bus at a bus stop,
we saw a posh car guarded by some police cars
I also saw something yellow by the window.
After going back home,
I looked at a scene that the Queen received a yellow bouquet
from a little boy in the news on TV.
The yellow thing which I saw by the car window
might be the Queen's bouquet.
