New year holidays finished in Japan

and we went back to work. 学校

By the way, when do you usually remove your Christmas tree?

Actually, when I cleared away Christmas decoration

in the university where we work on 26 December,

my darling told me that it was bad luck. 叫び

It was a bit shocking comment for me

because in Japan we normally remove Christmas decoration

just after the Christmas day.

However, my darling told me that we should

continue having Christmas decoration until

the 12th days after Christmas. え゛!

So we removed our Christmas tree on that day.

In Europe, Christmas season is relatively long

which is not only 25 December but also 12 days afterwards.

The reason is related to the number of

disciples of Jesus Christ.

He had 12 disciples. niko

It is an interesting story, ist't it?
