Have you watched the English royal wedding of
Prince William and Kate Middleton on TV last Friday?
Seeing the bride waving her hand in the carriage
during the parade remaided me Princess Diana. 
According to a reporter, the wedding dress was designed
by Alexander McQueen which Miss Middleton selected
and bought by herself.
I was very interested in the episode
because I didn't chose my wedding dress by myself. 
Before I had my wedding in England about 10 years ago,
my mother in-law showed me her own wedding dress
which was more than 40 years old
and suggested me to wear it. 
At that time, I was a post-graduate student in
Leicester University, so I told about it to my classmates.
One of them who just got married in her country,
Turkey, was surprised and said to me as follows: 
"It's unbelievable
Is that all right for you? It's your wedding."
You got to wear which you really like.

Unlike my friend's comment,
I actually like the idea to carry on the family tradition. 
Also, since I heard that the old dress
was made by my darling's grandmother,
it was difficult to say no.
I was really happy to be welcomed
as a new member of Adamson family. 
My wedding dress is not fashionable designer's brand
but it has full of lovely memories.
