It is said that doctoral study is a very lonely process but I don't think that we should be so lonley. 
Yesterday my darling and I were invited dinner to our colleague's house. We heard that he received his doctoral degree in Education (Ed.D.) from Leicester University in England. We were also surprised to hear that he studied under the same supervisor who taught my husband and me
The colleague told us that he had such a difficult time while he was studying his doctoral course because he worked full-time when he was a student. But his wife always supported him, so he could finish it.
After I heard his story, I also realized that since my darling is supporting me quite a lot, I cannot give up.
