A few days ago, I saw a book about "mind-mapping" and I bought it.

- Have you heard of "mind-mapping" before? Actually, when I studied at Leicester University as a full time student in England about 10 years ago, I learned about mind-mapping. It was invented by a British educator called Tony Buzan.
- When you take notes, I think that most people including me write sentences but Buzan suggests to use only words or short phases.
To be honest, I did not use mind-mapping very much when I was in England. But I notice that one of my classmates who used this note taking technique finished writing her doctoral thesis within four years
Yesterday, I made a mind-map based on my doctoral thesis as follows:
I learned from the book that the important points are to use colours and pictures related to the words and phrases, so I follows the advice.
The length of my thesis will be around 55,000 which is almost 200 pages. But when I see my mind-map condensed into one page, I feel a kind of confidence. Hopefully, I can continue to keep my motivation towards studying.
Have you ever made a mind-map?
