今日久しぶりに別の方のサイトでみつけて
やっぱりいいなって思いました。
でも、以前これをブログに載せたときには賛否両論ありました。
このメッセージは自分達がいかにめぐまれているか。。。
他の人と比べていかにしあわせかってことを
示して安心感を得たいだけ。。。
他人と比べることによって自分の幸せを見出す
ことしかできないなんて寂しい。
そんな否定的な感想も頂きなんだかちょっと悲しくなったのですが、
わたしはこのメッセージの言いたいことはそんな自分勝手なことじゃなく、
自分たちがどんなにめぐまれているかって
ことを知ったうえで日々の生活に感謝しながら生きること
また、恵まれているであろう私達がそうでない
多くの人のために何ができるか、どうすべきなのか
っといった問題提議をしているのだと
とらえました。
だからこれを読んで一人でも多くの人がもっと世界のことを考えて
くれるといいな～なんて思います。

When one considers our world from such a compressedperspective,
the need for acceptance, understanding and education
becomes glaringly apparent.
The following points are also something else to ponder...
If you woke up this morning with more health than illness...
you are more blessed than the million who will not survive this week.
If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness
of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation...
you are ahead of 500 million people in the world.
If you can attend a church meeting without fear of harassment,
arrest, torture, or death...
you are more blessed than three billion people in the world.
If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back,
a roof overhead and a place to sleep...
you are richer than 75% of this world.
If you have money in the bank, in your wallet,
and spare change in a dish someplace ...
you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.
If your parents are still alive and still married...you are very rare.
If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing
in that someone was thinking of you,
and furthermore, you are more blessed
than over two billion people in the world that cannot read at all.
Someone once said: What goes around comes around.
Work like you don't need the money.
Love like you've never been hurt.
Dance like no-one's watching.
Sing like no-one's listening.
Live like it's Heaven on Earth.
It's National Friendship Week.

もしこのように、縮小された全体図から私達の世界を見るなら、
相手をあるがままに受け入れること、自分と違う人を理解すること、
そして、そういう事実を知るための教育がいかに必要かは火をみるよりあきらかです
また、次のような視点からもじっくり考えてみましょう
もし、あなたが今朝、目が覚めた時、
病気でなく健康だなと感じることができたなら・・・
あなたは今いきのこることのできないであろう100万人の人たちより恵まれています
もしあなたが戦いの危険や、投獄される孤独や苦悩、
あるいは飢えの悲痛を一度も体験したことがないのなら・・・
あなたは世界の5億人の人たちより恵まれています
もしあなたがしつこく苦しめられることや、
逮捕、拷問または死の恐怖を感じることなしに
教会のミサに行くことができるなら・・・
あなたは世界の30億人のひとたちより恵まれています
もし冷蔵庫に食料があり、着る服があり、
頭の上に屋根があり、寝る場所があるのなら・・・
あなたは世界の75％の人たちより裕福で恵まれています
もし銀行に預金があり、お財布にお金があり、
