All creatures living on this planet live for their own benefit or for the benefit of the community to which they belong.
It's a daily routine for living things to consume or waste what is convenient for them, in the way that is convenient for them, regarding both phenomena brought about by the Earth itself and those brought from outside the Earth.
Humans are no exception to this.
Today is designated as "Earth Appreciation Day" in Japan, but one must wonder how many people truly feel gratitude toward the Earth.
We claim all territories as our own—calling them lands, territories, or domains—and selfishly appropriate, trample, pollute, and destroy them.
Living things on a single planet invade each other, repeating fruitless conflicts.
Is there any gratitude present in this?
