My grandmother died when she was 89 years old,5 years ago.
I have her sewing box and works.
She loved embroidering on handkerchieves.
About 40 or 50 years ago, a white handkerchief was given as a
gift in return for a funeral offering.
That modest gift is called “Koden-ga-Essie 香典返し” in Japanese.
So I will make something pretty with those works.
