みなさん、昨日は、

昨夜から、また強い余震が続き、
地震速報が来る度に
ドキドキしてしまいますが....


被災地の方々の強い気持ちに、
私たち負けてられません


被災地では、役場などに対して
クレームなど、１件もないらしいですよ....


すばらしいですよね



都内も不便は続きますが、
こんな緊急事態みんな初めてのこと。
細かいこと文句言わんと、
みんなで助け合って、工夫して、乗り切らないかん




世界中が支えてくれてます！！！




私のところにも、ハワイからメッセージと、ある音源が届きました。

知人の娘さんの通っている小学校の児童合唱団の先生が、
ハワイで愛媛丸の事故があったときに作られた歌ですが、
今、日本の方たちに伝えたいメッセージが全て入っているので、
ぜひ日本の方に聞いてもらいたいとのことです。

Our hearts and prayers go out the the country of Japan. Many of our parents and students want to be able to help in whatever way they can. I couldn’t help but think about one of the songs that we have on our CD. It was actually written for the city of Uwajima after the terrible tragedy of the Ehime Maru. One of my students mentioned that I needed to write a song for Japan to bring healing, but I told her that this song actually says everything we want to share.

Please share this song with Japan in whatever way you can. It is entitled “We Send This Aloha, To You”. I have attached the recording as well as the lyrics. If you need to translate, please feel free t! o do so. I feel this is something that Japan needs to hear. They need to know that children from Hawai‘i want to reach out and share their aloha to them.
