Obon is coming soon.
お盆がもうすぐ来ますね。

I'm going to visit my grandparents with my family.
私は家族で祖父母をたずねます。
Then, we will visit the grave.
それから、お墓に行きます。
We will clean it and offer flowers.
お墓を掃除して、お花を供えます。
In the grave, our ancestors, including my grandfather and my father, are sleeping.
お墓にはご先祖さま（祖父と父も）が眠っています。
People say they come back to our home during Obon.
お盆の期間はご先祖さまがおうちに帰ってくると言われています。
So, we make horses of cucumbers for them to come back fast.
だから私たちはご先祖さまが早く帰ってこられるようにきゅうりの馬を作りますね。
We also make cows of eggplants for them to go back with a lot of souvenirs.
ご先祖さまがたくさんお土産をもって帰れるようにナスの牛も作りますよね。
