スイスを訪れた際、券売機の言語選択で韓国語はあるけど日本語はないということがありました。それは比較的新しそうな券売機だったので、きっと最近は日本人より韓国人の訪問者の方が多いということでしょう。
スイスは韓国の恋愛ドラマ「愛の不時着」（2019年〜2020年）のロケ地となっており、そのせいも多少あると思いますが、日本の経済力低下の現実に直面して、若干ショックを受けました。
昔からありそうな案内や（氷河特急などの）パンフレットには日本語の記載があるものもありましたよ。
今や旅行先では日本語よりも中国語を見かけるのが当たり前になっていますが、今でも海外で日本語を見るとやはり感動します。今年の4月にイスタンブールを訪れた際、地下鉄の券売機で日本語が選択できた時は非常にありがたいと思いました。
言語表記とは関係ありませんが、スイスのツェルマットと富士河口湖町が姉妹都市だったり、スイスのレーティッシュ鉄道と箱根登山鉄道が姉妹鉄道だったり、日本との交流は盛んなようです。

When I visited Switzerland, a ticket machine had a Korean option, but no Japanese one. The machine seemed relatively new, so I thought it was probably because there have been more Korean visitors than Japanese ones recently.
As you know, the Korean romance drama " Crash Landing on You" (2019~2020) was shot in Switzerland, so that was partly because why there were more Korean people. Anyway, I was a little shocked to face the reality of what Japan's weak economy brought.
Some instructions and brochures which seemed to be old had Japanese language.
Now that it's a matter of course that you see more Chinese language than Japanese in your destination, I am still impressed when I see Japanese signs overseas. When I visited Istanbul in April this year, I was very grateful that the subway's ticket machines had a Japanese option.
By the way, it's not related to the language notation, but there seems to be a lot of exchange with Japan. Zermatt and Fujikawaguchiko-machi were sister cities and Rhaetian Railway and Hakone Tozan Railway were sister Railways.
