Yesterday, I bought a pack of whipped cream to make some cake, but unfortunately, It was for vegans. My brain has not been familiar with English perfectly, so I can catch only the information I intended to read. In the United States,  a lot of foods that avoid animal-derived ingredients are sold in supermarkets, so I was trying to be careful not to buy them. However, when I went to the supermarket, there was only whipped cream lining up on the shelf, so I bought it without wondering. I thought the taste would be different from the regular one, so I bought it again at another supermarket.

Yesterday, when I went to Trader Joe's to buy cream for making a cake, I accidentally bought a vegan version. I haven't fully switched to thinking in English, I tend to pick up on information that I'm actively trying to read. In the U.S., there are more food options for foods that avoid animal-derived ingredients compared to Japan, and I had been meaning to be more cautious. However, when I went, There was only a vegan option for cream, so I bought it without hesitation. I assumed that It might have a different taste, so later on, I bought regular cream at another supermarket.
